BATMAN MOON

BATMAN No. 59, "Batman In The Future," June 1, 1950 (in store date April 12, 1950):
"The Post Office initiated the ZIP code in July 1,1963, but the idea of a Zoning Improvement Plan (ZIP) to offer more efficient mail delivery had actually been born some time earlier. A Philadelphia postal worker named Robert A. Moon actually had the idea back in the 1940s, according to his 2001 obituary in the New York Times, but Post Office officials apparently were not interested."
𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, is the day that the 𝘻𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝗭𝗜𝗣 𝗖𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗦 went into effect, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 1, 1963; what makes this musically noteworthy 𝗕𝗮𝘁-𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘀 is that none other than "𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲*" (𝗘𝘁𝗵𝘆𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗱) sang the 𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗦 tune; 𝘤𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 (?) on 𝗠𝗲𝗧𝗩 @ 10:00 𝗽𝗺 𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 30𝘁𝗵 last night, 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀' (and 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻!) 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗡 episodes 98 & 99, "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘀"/"𝗔 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿" (𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 5 - 12, 1967) were aired; 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘳 (relatively speaking here in/on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 1𝘀𝘁, 2018 space-time), 𝗠𝗮𝘆 29, 1963, 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘆 (as 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘆) ... "𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗮 *𝗟𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮" in "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱" on 𝗗𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗘 𝗚𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗦, with 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 ... as "𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮"!
